New to Excel racing?

Circuit Excel is close, competitive racing in race-prepared Hyundai Excels. In South Australia, we race at Mallala and The Bend. Whether you’re new to motorsport or coming from another category, the club can help you get started.

Getting to the grid

  1. Come to a race meeting

Take a look around the paddock, meet the drivers and see how a race weekend works. You can get to know the club before you own a car.

  2. Choose a car that suits you

Buying an existing race car, building one or leasing are all options. Before committing, talk to the club’s eligibility officer or technical delegate about the car’s logbook, engine and gearbox seals, and current technical requirements.

    Lease before you buy

Leasing can give you a chance to experience Excel racing before deciding whether to buy a car. Ask the club about available providers, then confirm costs, what’s included and damage responsibilities with the provider.

  3. Join CEASA and choose a number

Club membership connects you with CEASA and is part of arranging your race licence with Motorsport Australia. Check the number allocation list and ask the secretary to confirm your preferred number.
